Inspire Academy is an inclusive special education school in Sun City supporting neurodivergent and neurotypical learners from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to provide personalized academic support, social-emotional learning, and enrichment opportunities in a structured, nurturing environment where students can feel valued, capable, and understood.
As a diverse microschool, we support children with a range of learning styles, including autistic students, students with ADHD, and others who may benefit from a more individualized educational experience. Students may be self- directed or receive additional staff support as they work through their chosen curriculum. By combining elements of traditional education, autism-specific support, and homeschool learning, Inspire Academy helps families find an educational setting that better fits their child.

Our Programs
Every student is different, so Inspire Academy offers multiple ways for families to access our thoughtful, personalized instruction and discover a format that meets their child’s unique needs
Our in-person microschool provides neurodivergent and neurotypical students with structured support Monday through Thursday. Students participate in emotional development learning, individualized core academics, planned socialization time, and more, guided by our dedicated Learning Coaches. Families can enroll at our Sun City and Glendale locations, each offering the same student-centered approach in a more intimate and focused learning environment.
Our Virtual Academy gives younger students access to live online learning from home. Students participate in real-time academic classes, guided and independent practice, executive-planning activities, discussions, and group interaction. We offer both 3- and 4-day enrollment options.
Our Hybrid Academy combines the flexibility of virtual learning with the connection of in- person support. Students complete part of their week online and attend 1–2 days on campus for socialization, community-building, and social-emotional support.

How We Support Students With Special Education Needs
We support children with a range of learning styles, including autistic students, students with ADHD, and others who may benefit from a more individualized educational experience. Students may be self- directed or receive additional staff support as they work through their chosen curriculum.
Individualized Learning Plans are developed collaboratively with students and families to account for learning styles, interests, needs, accommodations, and goals. Learning Coaches then provide the level of guidance and academic support each student requires.

Personalization
Students do not all learn in the same way or at the same pace. Individualized Learning Plans are developed collaboratively with students and families to account for learning styles, interests, needs, accommodations, and goals. Learning Coaches then provide the level of guidance and academic support each student requires.
Entrepreneurship
Learning should connect students with the world outside the classroom. Entrepreneurship activities, including Business 101 and other practical learning opportunities, introduce students to innovation, problem-solving, creativity, and real-world thinking.
Self Directed Learning
We encourage students to become active participants in their education. They will have opportunities to set goals, make choices, work at their pace, and take greater ownership of their curriculum, with assistance from our dedicated staff whenever needed.

About Our Team
Inspire Academy of Schools was founded by Irishia Reed Williams, a teacher and special education professional with more than two decades of experience serving students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. Her experience shaped Inspire Academy’s commitment to personalized education, neurodiversity, social-emotional development, and family partnership.
Irishia works alongside a team of educators who bring unmatched expertise, training, and a shared commitment to helping students feel seen and supported. Inspire’s Learning Coaches have degrees or certifications in their respective fields and participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest innovations and developments.

Can my child continue using their current curriculum or online learning program?
Students at Inspire Academy can work through their chosen curriculum or online learning platform with guidance from Learning Coaches. This gives families additional flexibility while providing students with structure, consistency, and academic guidance.
Does Inspire Academy accept Arizona ESA funding?
Yes. Inspire Academy is an ESA vendor in Arizona and is registered with ClassWallet. Inspire also works with Florida scholarship funding. Families should contact Inspire Academy to discuss current eligibility, payment procedures, and how available funding may apply to their program.
What qualifications do Inspire Academy's Learning Coaches have?
Inspire Academy’s Learning Coaches are qualified and experienced professionals with degrees or certifications in their respective fields. Team members also participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with educational practices and learning technologies.
How does enrollment work?
Enrollment begins with a virtual or phone consultation so the Inspire team can learn more about your child and family. From there, families complete an enrollment application, and the team can assist with online or homeschool registration where applicable, school-of-record arrangements, Individualized Learning Plans, and other necessary documentation.
Does Inspire Academy assign homework?
Homework is used when it has a clear purpose and supports a student’s learning objectives. Our Learning Coaches may assign work as needed to reinforce concepts, strengthen understanding, or help students continue progressing toward their goals.
Do students need to be fully independent learners to attend Inspire Academy?
No. Inspire Academy supports both self-directed students and students who require hands-on assistance. The amount of support can vary according to the student’s individual needs, which is also why tuition may differ depending on the level of staff support required
