Our Approach

Tailored Learning for Neurodivergent Students

Our neurodivergent microschool in Sun City is designed for students who may benefit from a smaller setting, greater flexibility, and more individualized guidance than they typically receive in a traditional classroom. We support autistic students, students with ADHD, and learners with a variety of educational needs and learning styles.

Rather than expecting every student to learn the same material at the same pace, we take a student-centered approach. Families, students, and our team collaborate to develop an Individualized Success Plan that considers the student’s goals, learning needs, accommodations, interests, and preferred level of support. During core academic time, students work through their chosen curriculum or online learning platform under the supervision of dedicated Learning Coaches. The result is a combination of personalized academics, holistic growth, and social-emotional learning that allows children to thrive in every aspect of life.

Grades We Support

Our Sun City in-person microschool serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade. While every student’s learning plan is individualized, our programs also evolve as students develop greater academic skills, confidence, autonomy, and ownership of their education.

Kindergarten & Elementary School

Younger learners receive structured support as they develop foundational academic skills, learning routines, emotional awareness, and self-assurance participating in a learning community.

Middle School

As students become more well-rounded, we continue supporting core academics while helping them strengthen executive-function skills, goal setting, organization, self awareness, and positive peer interaction.

High School

Older students are encouraged to take an increasingly active role in their educational journey. We help them build independence, develop problem-solving skills, and prepare for college, a career, entrepreneurship, and other future opportunities.

Empowering Students to Succeed

Guided by our values of inclusivity, social-emotional learning, personalization, entrepreneurship, and self directed learning, we give neurodivergent and neurotypical students the tools they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.

Core Academic Learning

Lunch also creates an opportunity for conversation, social learning, and connection with peers

Enrichment & Structured Social Time

Students participate in structured opportunities for social interaction and enrichment. These experiences are intended to strengthen community while allowing students to explore new interests.

Activities may include areas such as Business 101, art, STEM, music, entrepreneurship, and other fields that expand learning beyond traditional academic subjects. Throughout the day, our Learning Coaches provide guidance while encouraging students to gradually develop greater responsibility for their goals, choices, and learning process.
