School in Glendale
Inspire Academy of Schools gives students access to a smaller, more flexible educational setting built around their individual strengths, needs, and learning styles.
Welcome to Glendale’s Inspire Academy of Schools
Inspire Academy is an inclusive special education school in Glendale offering high-quality K–12 learning for both neurodivergent and neurotypical students. Our approach combines individualized academics with social-emotional learning, enrichment, and consistent guidance in an environment where students can feel heard and supported.
Our microschool serves children with a variety of learning differences, including autism and ADHD, as well as neurotypical students who benefit from a more personalized setting. Depending on their needs, students may work independently or receive hands-on support from Learning Coaches as they progress through their chosen curriculum.
For families searching for a neurodivergent school in Glendale, Inspire Academy offers an alternative to larger, more standardized classroom environments. We create space for students to learn at an appropriate pace, participate in a community of peers, and gain greater confidence in their educational journey.
Learning Options for Every Student
Families have different educational priorities, schedules, and support needs. Inspire Academy offers both in-person and virtual programs so parents can choose the format that works best for their child.
In-Person Microschool
Students at our Glendale campus participate in personalized academics, social-emotional learning, executive planning, structured peer interaction, and enrichment with support from dedicated Learning Coaches. Our in-person program is available Monday through Thursday, with 3- and 4-day enrollment options.
Virtual Academy
Our Virtual Academy provides live online instruction for students who benefit from learning at home while still having access to educators and classmates. Sessions combine core academics with guided practice, independent work, executive-planning activities, discussions, and social-emotional learning.
Hybrid Academy
The hybrid approach gives families a middle ground between fully online and fully in person learning. Students complete part of the week virtually and attend one or two days on campus for face-to-face connection, social emotional support, and time within the Inspire community.
The 5 Principles Behind the Inspire Experience
Five values shape how we teach, connect with families, and help students become more involved participants in their education.
Inclusivity
Our community brings neurodivergent and neurotypical students from a wide range of backgrounds together in an environment that respects different abilities, perspectives, and learning styles.
Social-Emotional Learning
Students have regular opportunities to strengthen self awareness, emotional regulation, communication, executive functioning, and confidence alongside their academic work.
Personalization
Individualized Learning Plans help us account for each student's needs, interests, accommodations, learning preferences, and goals rather than applying the same approach to every learner.
Entrepreneurship
Business 101 and other practical learning experiences encourage creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and greater awareness of possibilities beyond the classroom.
Self Directed Learning
Students are encouraged to set goals, make decisions, and take increasing responsibility for their education while Learning Coaches remain available to provide structure and support.
- 8:1 student-to-Learning Coach ratio

Why Glendale Families Turn to Inspire Academy
Some students need more support than a conventional classroom can provide. Inspire Academy offers a small-group setting with a 8:1 student-to-Learning Coach ratio, allowing for more individualized attention and flexibility. Students can move through academics at a suitable pace while still having the routine, accountability, and educator support that can be difficult to recreate through independent homeschooling alone.
Families considering an autism school in Glendale may also value that our model looks beyond academics. Social-emotional learning, executive planning, structured peer experiences, and enrichment are intentionally incorporated into the school day. Students can also explore interests such as art, STEM, music, and entrepreneurship while building the skills and confidence they need throughout school and everyday life. For parents seeking a special education academy in Glendale, Inspire provides a thoughtful alternative built around the individual learner

Glendale FAQs
Can students keep using their existing curriculum?
Yes. Students at our Glendale program can continue working through their chosen curriculum or online learning platform with support from Inspire Academy s Learning Coaches. This allows families to maintain continuity while adding structure, accountability, and individualized academic guidance.
Can Arizona ESA funds be used for the Glendale program?
Yes. Inspire Academy is an approved Arizona ESA vendor and is registered with ClassWallet. Families are encouraged to contact our team for current details about eligibility, payment procedures, and how available funding may apply to enrollment.
Who supports students during the school day?
Our Learning Coaches are experienced professionals with degrees or certifications in their respective fields. They also participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen their teaching practices and stay current with educational tools and methods.
What is the enrollment process for the Glendale campus?
Enrollment starts with a phone or virtual consultation, so our team can learn more about your child s needs, goals, and current educational setting. From there, we guide families through the application, Individualized Success Plan, relevant documentation, and school-of-record or homeschool arrangements when applicable.
Is homework part of the program?
Homework may be assigned when it directly supports a student s learning goals. Learning Coaches use it selectively to reinforce concepts, provide additional practice, or help students continue making progress outside of scheduled class time.
Does my child need to be a self-directed learner?
No. Inspire Academy serves both independent learners and students who benefit from more hands-on support. The level of Learning Coach involvement is based on each student s needs, and tuition may vary depending on the amount of staff support required.
