In my journey as a highly qualified special education teacher, I've discovered a passion for making a difference in the lives of students. With over two decades of experience, I've had the privilege of serving kids in my community who are the inspiration at Inspire Academy of Schools. At Inspire Academy of Schools, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where every student feels valued and supported. My commitment to personalized learning, social-emotional development, and embracing neurodiversity shapes every aspect of our programs at Inspire Academy. I believe that education goes beyond the classroom, fostering a sense of belonging and support that extends to both students and their families.
My passion is to pave the way for students to envision and achieve their aspirations. I believe in going beyond traditional education, focusing on instilling purpose and awareness about various college and career possibilities. My approach integrates real-world experiences, mentorship programs, and college readiness initiatives, ensuring that every student is equipped with the tools to navigate their unique path to success.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I'm deeply involved in the community, forging meaningful connections between families and specialized programs. Together, we create a nurturing environment where learning is a joy and futures are shaped with care and dedication.

I am a passionate educator who believes every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and confident in their learning. My love for teaching began in first grade, when
my teacher celebrated a small success that made a lifelong impact on me. That moment
showed me how powerful encouragement can be, and it inspired me to become the kind
of teacher

of teacher who helps students feel proud of themselves.
I now bring that same heart into my work as the
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR of the VIRTUAL ACADEMY,
where small class sizes and strong relationships allow me to truly know each student. I believe in a looping style of teaching and learning, where I stay with students over time and build deep connections that support their growth. This approach allows me to provide differentiated instruction and individualized, personalized lesson plans that meet each learner exactly where they are.
In my classroom, I strive to create a warm and supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow. I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and connected to real life. I am committed to helping students build not only academic skills, but also confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Every step forward counts, and I make it a priority to celebrate each student’s progress, big or small, just as my teacher once did for me.
